What working with me looks like.

Short, focused engagements. Outcomes defined before work starts. No surprises on scope or cost.

Most consulting engagements are too long, too expensive, and measured against the wrong things. Mine are designed to be the opposite. Every engagement starts with a defined outcome -- not a list of deliverables -- and ends with a review of whether that outcome was achieved.

I am not interested in producing reports that sit unread, or running workshops that generate action plans nobody implements. If you are not looking for something that will change how your organisation actually operates, I am probably not the right fit. If you are, read on.

Five steps. Every engagement.

The same process applies whether you are starting a rapid assessment or a multi-month transformation programme. The scale changes. The discipline does not.

1
A straight conversation

We talk. No pitch deck, no proposal on the table. I want to understand your situation before I suggest anything. If I can help, I will tell you how. If I cannot -- or if someone else is better placed -- I will tell you that too.

An honest view on whether this is worth taking further. No obligation, no charge.
2
Honest diagnosis

If we agree to proceed, I spend time understanding the real problem. That means talking to the people doing the work, not just the people managing it. Most problems look very different at the frontline than they do in the meeting room.

A clear picture of what is actually happening -- not just what is being reported up the chain.
3
A scoped proposal

I present a clear proposal: what I will do, how long it will take, what it will cost, and -- most importantly -- what a successful outcome looks like. Everything is fixed before work starts. No scope creep, no surprise invoices.

A shared definition of success that we can both measure against when the work is done.
4
Focused delivery

I work alongside your team -- not at a distance from them. That means being present in the work, not just reviewing outputs. Change sticks when the people who need to own it were involved in building it. That is the only way I know how to do this.

An organisation that can sustain what we built -- not one that depends on me to maintain it.
5
Outcomes review

Every engagement closes with a review of what changed against what we agreed would change. This is not a retrospective -- it is a measure of whether the work delivered value. And an honest conversation about what, if anything, should come next.

A clear record of what was delivered and a defined picture of the next opportunity -- if one exists.

Three ways to engage.

Every engagement is scoped individually, so the right fit depends on your situation. Pricing is being finalised -- in the meantime, get in touch and I will give you a straightforward answer about what your specific engagement would cost.
